How FR8UP works
FR8UP is capacity-first freight software. Carriers reviewed by FR8UP publish their trucks and availability; reviewed brokers and shippers discover that capacity, build a Carrier Network and contact carriers directly. Freight listings remain as a supporting feature.
What FR8UP does
- Hosts truck profiles and availability that carriers choose to publish, at city-level location.
- Lets brokers and shippers search capacity, follow carriers and request mutual connections.
- Lets carriers share a truck's availability with the connected companies they choose.
- Carries inquiries and messages between companies, tied to the exact truck or listing.
- Hosts freight listings posted by organizations reviewed by FR8UP.
- Lets each party record its own view of the outcome and the poster mark loads covered.
- Reviews organizations, investigates reports and removes abusive content or accounts.
What FR8UP does not do
- It does not negotiate rates, choose or assign carriers, or accept agreements for anyone.
- It is not a party to any transportation agreement and does not issue rate confirmations.
- It does not collect, hold or pay freight charges.
- It does not guarantee any listing, organization or outcome. Always confirm authority, insurance and terms directly.
What “Reviewed by FR8UP” means
An FR8UP administrator manually reviewed the organization's submitted business details, identifiers (such as USDOT and MC numbers) and an attestation from an authorized representative. It is not a real-time check of operating authority, insurance, or safety rating, and it is not a guarantee. Confirm these yourself before tendering or hauling freight. Changing legal name, USDOT or MC sends an organization back to review.
